Mrs. Tammy is grateful to her sister Tanesha Greene and mother Barbara Greene for their support and commitment in answering the call to provide quality childcare to families in need.
MEET OUR CEO
Tamanika Oliver is the CEO and founder of Kids Are Us Learning Centers. Kids Are Us Learning was founded in 2008 out of a long time desire and love Ms. Tammy had for providing quality care to children in low income communities.
As a young teenage mother, Ms. Tammy was faced with the challenges of locating quality child care for her son while she pursued her college education. She was forced to leave her son with family members and babysitters so that she could pursue her career. This became a bigger challenge because of the unavailability of family members. It was here that Tammy’s desire to open her own child care center was birth.
After the birth of her second child, Kennedy Oliver, Tamanika decided to step out on faith with the launching of the Kids Are Us Learning Center located at 7453 S. Vincennes Ave, Chicago, IL 60621. This center located in the at-risk community of Grand Crossing provides quality child care to 95 children. Kids Are Us Learning Center is a pilar in the community and is the trusted choice of quality child care.
In December 2016, Mrs. Oliver launched her second location (Kids Are Us Learning Academy) at 1862 East 75th Street Chicago, IL 60649 in the South Shore Community.
Mrs. Oliver considers herself blessed to be doing what she is called to do and counts it as a blessing to be able to positively impact the lives of the children in her care.
